McLaren On a Wing and a Prayer
Middlesbrough lost to Sevilla in the final last night's UEFA Cup has given everyone a better view of the new England coach Steve McLaren. FA England was the place for McLaren as Schumacher throw the keys to his Ferrari to a Formula 3 test. Stand firm in England, because this trip is a success. McLaren, What have you done? He won a trophy, the League Cup. Do not try to say he was the mastermind behind the Manchester United manager Sir Alex higher, otherwise, must respond. McLaren led Middlesbrough to the UEFA Cup this season on a wing and a prayer. E 'was the substance of fairy tales with dramatic victories over FC Basel and Steaua Bucharest in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively. However, it was a nightmare in the final to win the final 4-0 with Middlesbrough. The score line was hard on Boro with 3 goals in the end, but was beaten all night response. McLaren to get Boro in trouble against Basel and Bucharest was sent to the 4 strikers. It was tactics or simple luck that Massimo Maccarone, the attacker room, stuck on the two chances to score the winner? What did Steve make a joke pony last night when the party was at stake? He put four strikers on the field when belted in the midfield, and Sevilla scored 3 goals in the last 12 minutes. You can see where it is most important. Let me paint a picture. And "the World Cup semi-finals, Brazil vs. England. Brazil rose by 1 goal from Ronaldinho and time is running out. Sven is inclined to Steve and says "What do we do?" McLaren says, "I have an idea, send the Walcott to join Owen and Crouch before Joe Cole and push forward." Sven, "Done!" England hosts 4-0 with Sven belt pass the baton to a man well qualified for the job (Middlesbrough captain so he says). McLaren is a very good car as he can develop players and teach them the game. He left Middlesbrough in good shape for the development of the youth sector, which will provide a solid foundation for the future of this club. Unfortunately for fans of a bus that England international requires strong tactics and man management skills, McLaren does not have these attributes. Time will tell if he can make the step, but in my humble opinion, is the law have simply failed the interviews and gave Guus Hiddink. Simon is 25 years old from Australia who likes to do some "football opinion articles in their free time. He has a football blog http://thesoccersquirrel.blogspot.com
